(More customer reviews)The Patagonia Classic Retro-X Jacket combines a windresistant lining with the distinctive Retro-X "mature sheep" fleece for a great intermediate outerwear garment. This reviewer found it very adequate for dry cold conditions in the 20 degrees to 40 degrees range in Alaska.
It is a bit bulky and stiff for anyone wearing gear or a backpack, or doing overhead work. However, it is excellent for yardwork, shingling a roof, running errands, casual wear, and long walks in cool weather. Matting the outer fleece down over time actually improves the look. The Classic Retro-X jacket is highly recommended to Patagonia fans as another quality product.

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a lightweight jacket that breathes well, has no liner to retain too much heat (I usually wear longsleeve knit shirts and don't need the extra lining) and also has a decent amount of style and color.
After visiting a number of local stores and online sites this is the only one that seemed to be what I wanted. After owning and wearing it for several weeks on the coast and in the Central Oregon desert (both cold right now) I'm very happy with it and recommend it to anyone with the same needs.

It is very warm, has 2 internal pockets, 2 button closed pockets and two 'hand' pockets. The only thing I don't like is the hand pockets are very small and cannot fit my hands. So, other than that, this is a fantastic coat that is warm, stylish, casual and dressy and can be used for all situation. Keeps you warm and keeps you dry.
Good purchase, if you're thinking about it, get it. I think you will be as happy as I am.

It is made of very durable mountaineering material with a beautiful soft hand and color. It's totally water and wind proof and the hood can be removed to dress it up. If you buy this coat for a cold climate, it should be noted that it has no lining. It is only a wind and rain shell. You will need a sweater or down shell under it to keep warm when cold. Note that this is breathing water proof material so it's a great rain coat in a warm climate as well. It's now her main travel coat.

It looks incredibly nice and has a nice color contrast. it is very compatible with whatever is the weather (warm when buttoned up during the cold; cool when left unbuttoned), the length is good and the peacoat is an overall good fit. The only real problem is that the coat runs a bit tight; it seems a bit too snug for it's size compared to other coats. Another minor problem is that the buttons on the coat are a little loose and require some sewing to re-tighten. Other than that I'd say that this coat is overall very good. I would recommend.

(More customer reviews)My daughter likes this jacket however the belted area is annoying to have to fasten and unfasten particularly since the fastener is not well made. One could substitute another skinny belt for it, or replace the buckle yet it will still be a fabric belt and it does not have much stiffener in it. We ordered a junior's medium and my daughter usually wears a small but we thought that with a shirt underneath we needed the room - but found we did not. The fit is rather boxy and is not flattering all by itself, however when paired with the right shirt and pants, it is a nice accent to the outfit. Recommend.

Hydraulic Junior's Faux Leather Bomber Review

(More customer reviews)I justtt got this jacket TODAY and I was so excited and satisfied after I opened it!
It fits great! (I was going to order an L but then, remembering bombers are usually tight fitting I ordered an XL--which turned out perfect!). It's long enough, because I hateee bombers that only come down midway or like more of a cropped jacket. This one comes to a lil before my hip. I can also zip this one up! That may sound weird but my past bombers I can't zip up cause they're too "fitted" if you know what I mean and they're more meant to be worn open.
It's just the right look I was looking for!! I got the black one and I thought it'd be black through and through but it has a faded look but I like that touch; it also has pockets on the outside and inside.
Even though it's Faux Leather, you can't really tell that from afar. But as I was inspecting it, as you look closer, you can see some paint (like a...tan color) underneath the black in some spots and around the lining but it's very minute and hardly visible unless someone's carrying a magnifying glass with them.
The material also isn't as sturdy as I thought it would be, but it does seem durable, a lot better than most jackets. It's not flimsy...just not as firm as I expected but I just guess that's cause of the material.
Overall I LOVE IT, can't wait to start rocking it with some jeans and boots? Or even a dress. And I love that it has a hood, so convenient. I hope this lasts a long time!!
The only reason I gave this a four is because it's not that sturdy (on a scale of "sturdiness" 0 being flimsy and 10 sturdy, I'd still give it a 6.5/7) and because of the paint and finish and close inspection that you can see it's faux.
But I'd definitely recommend this!!!!

Dickies Men's Sanded Duck Sherpa Lined Hooded Jacket Review

(More customer reviews)I love the lined warm comfort of this jacket and rugged feel appearance of the exterior Dickies fabric. It is very warm in 30 degree weather. I've been wearing it daily and mostly used as a work jacket. But while bending over slightly, the backside top center fabric ripped open. It is a 1" vertical tear running across the horizontal seam that holds the hood on. The material tore, not the seam, and I was not wearing the hood. This indicates to me that the material is not cut wide enough across that horizontal length across the shoulders. I'm 6' tall and 185# and not a bodybuilder so my shoulders are not extra wide. I don't know if it is just this jacket or if they are all built this way and would like to try a replacement.
