The colour is a rich dark red and I love the metal clasps. People always stop and ask me where I got the coat from. It fits perfectly and compliments any outfit. It is not a heavy coat, just right. I would strongly recommend this coat, it is truly a gorgeous coat from Michael Kors.

Nine West Women's Melton Double Breasted 3/4 Swing Coat, Review

Overall its quality was good but I did not particularly care for the style. There is a slight puff to the shoulder area and the wrist area was tapered and very tight.

Larry Levine Single Breasted Coat Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this coat at the end of the winter season to wear while visiting Germany next December. In the picture, the coat appeared to be an A-line shape. When it arrived, it was not an A-line shape, but very close fitting. I could only wear a very thin t-shirt with the coat (no sweaters or layers), so I returned the coat. Also, the color in the picture is a bright red but the actual coat is a very dark red, almost a burgundy. Disappointed with this coat on many levels!!

Everytime I wear this coat, I am surprised about the compliments. But, after a short time, I have noticed a ton of pilling in the sleaves:(

It is really a beautiful coat- two things- it is more of a burgundy red- not a bright red- very pretty color but darker than I thought it would be- also it is more of a swing style rather than a traditional pea coat. Very pretty though and the material is beautiful- a keeper.

Well it did not made a big difference since I like the jacket anyways. It's a good quality jacket that has modern look and very light and comfortable. It fits true to size so if you are ordering go with your size. Overall it is a good looking jacket but don't expect it to look like a model unless you have same figure. But it still a beautiful jacket.

(More customer reviews)I got this coat on a super deep discount before Christmas... For only just over $60. It's a fine coat, and fine quality. But I saw the regular retail price at the time and was glad I didn't pay that for it. It doesn't feel like a $200+ coat. I would expect more for that price in terms of fabric quality and heft. I see now they're selling it for $179. I think that's still too high. But, again, for a casual coat at a more casual price, I do like it. The red is a rich deep color, and it's great at Christmas especially (I'm usually a black and white person).

The cons.
1]The coat is supposedly a small size,and I'm a person that has recently flourished to a med-large size but can still squeeze myself into small sizes.This coat is way too big for a small,the shoulders were practically hanging off of mine.
2]The belt is sort of too wide giving it a tacky look.
3]The picture looks like a well fitted coat but in reality it is a bit flared.
4]I wasnt too impressed with the lining,looks a bit scary.
5]The coat came with wrinkles in a plastic bag.
I returned it,and UPS is picking it up free of cost.Its a really cool return policy that Amzon has!!
