Columbia Men's Cathedral Peak Vest Review

Columbia Men's Cathedral Peak Vest
Average Reviews:

I really like Columbia Sportswear Jackets, so decided to try the vest ... The fabric is the same soft, warm, fleece as the jackets but the fit in the vest seems awkward ... For instance the XL in the jacket is a perfect fit for me, but in the vest I had to exchange the XL for a L ... The vest seems to run a size larger, and I think it would be a better design had they also included the bottom draw strings on the vest as they have on the jackets (being that the vests cost as much as the jackets) ... Had I been able to find a brown vest in the style of a black one I got from Land's End I would have returned this L also ... Bottom line for me Columbia Sportswear Jackets 5*'s, the best I can give this vest is 3*'s.

Baby & Toddler Bright Blue Two-in-One Jacket Review

Baby and Toddler Bright Blue Two-in-One Jacket

I was really excited about this coat when I orded. The material is good and acceptable quality. I loved the concept of layering so my son can wear thru the spring. However, Within the first month two buttons have come off (not a good thing for a 14 month old). The zipper is sometimes hard to zip and you need to check that the sleeves are in place each time you put the coat on - the sleeves do not stay in place when you remove the coat.

I thought this coat was pale pink which was a major reason I ordered it. It came and is beige. It is nice. The only complaint I have about it is that the hood keep falling off the jacket because the buttons and elastics aren't tight enough.

The North Face Denali Womens Fleece Jacket Review

The North Face Denali Womens Fleece Jacket

I live in the the Pacific Northwest and almost every person has this jacket. It keeps everyone warm and we use it about 300 days out of the year, its great for rain (it doesn't get soaked) and wind (it keeps the wind out). It maintains itself very well, the zippers are strong and rarely break off, the fleece hasn't worn thin and it still washes well. I love the jacket and its worth every penny.

I ordered this for my 10 year old daughter. She has borrowed my fleece jacket a few times, and wanted one. She loves the color and it fits well. She is thin but tall......you need to order up on size.
My only complaint is that the material is thinner than my Columbia jacket. I hope it holds up as well.

Columbia Men's Steens Mountain Sweater Review

Columbia Men's Steens Mountain Sweater
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I just got this and it seems to be a very well made light jacket, suitable for casual wear on cool days and evenings, particularly when I'm riding my bike or working outdoors and want something that will keep the chill off but not leave me sweltering and not restrict my movements. Cozy, yet flexible and breathable, this jacket fits my needs to a T.
This jacket has 2 zip-up pockets with lots of capacity.
There is no hood, but I find a hood useful only when scooting out to my car when it's raining.
There's an elastic drawstring around the bottom I don't think I'll need - it tightens via plastic spring-loaded doodads on each side.
The cuffs have elastic in them also, but not too much to be comfortable. I hate elastic cuffs that make me feel like my sleeves are bound to my wrists, but these are snug without being restrictive, just right!Everything considered, I think this is a fine replaceent for my old fleece jacket, better made, good looking, and every bit as servicable. It wouldn't do for someone trying to survive in the Arctic, I don't suppose, but it's just what I was looking for and I'm happy as a clam.

Rugged looks combined with a soft and comfortable feel describes the Steens Mountain Sweater by Columbia Sportswear. The polyester MTR (Maximum Thermal Retention) fleece means it's easy to clean, quick drying, and pill resistant. All in all, a lightweight zip-front sweater that's designed to pack away in a corner of your suitcase for weekends or entire weeks in the snow and elements. With radial sleeves and a drawcord hem, you won't be afraid to give it your all on a snowboard or the slalom course. Layer it under a windbreaker for cool evening strolls.

I sail in Boston all winter long, and I was looking for a fleece that is warmer than the standard. This fleece is made from the same Polartec 300 as the North Face Denali jacket, but at a far lower cost. It fits me perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Warmth, style, true to fit, and a great price. I highly recommend it.

Columbia Sportswear Steens Mountain Full-Zip Fleece Jacket Review

Columbia Sportswear Steens Mountain Full-Zip Fleece Jacket
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I like the item in theory, but I have to give it only 3 stars because the sizing is so off. My son is a very average size and quite lean, and when this 18 month jacket arrived around his 16th month, it was already more or less too small. Way too short, too tight to have anything but a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath. He's still wearing many of his 12 month things, so I think this is an issue with their sizing. We are very disappointed.
I would use the age bracket as the MAXIMUM age it would fit a child and not the average or minimum. Definitely go up at least a size if you'd like to use it any longer than a week or two!
